NavisWorks Announces Record Results For 2005

Sheffield, UK, 18thJanuary 2006:  NavisWorks Ltd., developers of the leading 3D Design Review solution, today announced record results for 2005 with profits more than doubled that of previous year and revenue up by over 50%.

 

Peter Thompson, Managing Director and CEO, NavisWorks Ltd., today said, "2005 has seen tremendous growth for sales across all regions of the world, especially in the Americas, mainland Europe and APAC territories. In Process Plant, we have increased our market share dramatically, whilst in Construction, our BIM compliant software is bringing tremendous business benefits to both existing and new customers. 3D modelling brings both benefits and issues and an increasing customer base is finding that our products ease the problems in co-ordinating models from different designers using a variety of file formats. Communication and collaboration are key to success!"

Thompson continued, "The Company has enjoyed double digit growth every year for the last 4 years but 2005 has been exceptional. This enables us to keep on re-investing in resources to increase our development to deliver best business value to our highly appreciative customers. For instance, we have doubled our development team in the last year.

2005 A Year of Success

In April NavisWorks won a prestigious Queens Award for Enterprise. The award was in the International Trade category in recognition of the remarkable achievement that exports of our computer software have virtually doubled in the past three years.

In the UK, NavisWorks has been used to great effect on Terminal 5 project at Heathrow were Andy Mannington, BAA T5 Production Support Manager, described the software as "crucial to everything we do". In Europe, Audi have recognised NavisWorks as the best solution for them as revealed by Juergen Hoffmann, "We are proud to announce that AUDI AG in Ingolstadt, Germany has selected NavisWorks as the major Design Review solution in factory planning following a competitive benchmark. In the USA Mieczyslaw Boryslawski is on record as an avid NavisWorks user who is using the application on the groundbreaking Letterman Digital Arts Centre project for George Lucas, where over $10 million has been saved by using the "Smart Virtual Construction Model".
