New JetStream Version Released With AutoCAD 2007 Support

Sheffield, UK, 7th August 2006:  NavisWorks Ltd., developers of interactive viewing technology and JetStream, the leading 3D design review application; today announced that they are shipping JetStream v5.1 following the release of this latest version which offers increased support for Autodesk products plus exciting file format enhancements and localization.

This new version of JetStream from NavisWorks further improves the successful fifth release adding localization for Germany, Japan, China and France, as well as file format additions and updates, including support for Autodesk® DWFTM format, and an exporter for Google Earth.

In addition to keeping our long- standing support for 3D AutoCAD and AutoCAD based design products up to date, JetStream v5.1 introduces support for the .dwf format.  This enhancement again confirms the NavisWorks commitment to interoperability and meeting the workflow needs of our customers rather than attempting to to dictate change in the way they work. Where .dwf is one of the file formats being used on a project; it can be read into JetStream v5.1 for review and with the addition of .dwf output publishing, JetStream users gain choice and flexibility.

The addition of .KML [Google Earth] output in JetStream v5.1 allows users to further benefit from the unrivalled file format support offered by JetStream to improve the "reality" of the 3D design review experience by presenting a project in its real-life location in Google Earth.

Commenting on this release Peter Thompson, NavisWorks MD said "v5.1 is probably one of the biggest point versions we have ever released. AutoCAD 2007 support is something our

customers expect and we are pleased to deliver on, but adding support for DWF and Google Earth creates an extra level in our unique collaboration and interoperability tool-set for the Design Review user."
