NavisWorks JetStream Autodesk Inventor 10 Certified

Sheffield, UK, 11th February 2005: NavisWorks Ltd., developers of interactive viewing technology and the leading 3D computer aided design review solution today announced that their latest version, NavisWorks JetStream, has been certified compatible by Autodesk with their forthcoming Inventor 10 product.

Released at the close of 2004, NavisWorks JetStream is the fourth major version of an application that offers excellent compatibility with an unrivalled range of 3D design file formats and is the most effective solution for both CAD and non-CAD users to conveniently share and review 3D design data regardless of its source. NavisWorks are long standing Autodesk Developer Network members and our products employ ObjectDBX technology to offer the highest degree of compatibility possible with .dwg files, without any need for the original authoring design software.

NavisWorks JetStream introduced technology for improved handling and simple streaming of 3D models with many enhanced navigation, collaboration and coordination tools. Designers using Autodesk products such as Inventor or ADT can use NavisWorks to view, walkthrough, review and coordinate their output and unite it with that of others using competing design software. Designs can be published as NavisWorks JetStream .nwd files for review over the internet using the free NavisWorks JetStream viewer Freedom.

Commenting on the certification, Peter Thompson, Managing Director of NavisWorks Ltd., said, "One of our prime product focus points and a key benefit to both new and Bondholder customers is continued compatibility with our major design software partners. This continuing endorsement by Autodesk is important to NavisWorks and means that the users of Autodesk products can trust in an excellent solution to navigate even their largest 3D project without any loss of file fidelity."
